The Outside Foundation mission is to get kids outside and protect and preserve our local environment.

SCHOOL CHALLENGE!
We are challenging ALL Hilton Head Island & Bluffton schools to get out and make a difference in their communities leading up to Earth Day.
How it works:
-Select a teacher or administrator to be the point person
-Host at least one community clean up
-Submit information to the provided form
-Share photos on social media using #EARTHDAYHHI
The top 4 schools with the biggest impact will be awarded with a grant
to help reduce litter in/around their schools:
First place: $3,500
Second place: $1,000
Third place: $500
Fourth place: Gardening Supplies
The challenge will run March 30, 2024 - April 18, 2024 so clean ups and forms must be completed during this time.
Pick up your schools FREE clean up kit at our kick off event:
-Tuesday, March 26, 2024 at Bluffton Rec at 4:30pm OR
-Thursday, March 28, 2024 at Island Rec at 4pm
Students, staff and parents are ALL welcome
Winning schools will be announced at the HHI Earth Day Festival:
-Saturday April 28, 2024 at Coligny Beach Park starting at 10am
